The fire demon moved faster than the eye could follow, appearing as nothing more than a black blur if anything at all. He swung at a low-leveled demon with his katana, jumping into the air. He landed swiftly after slicing through the beast, standing still to get a glimpse of his surroundings. The bodies of other demons decorated the forest floor, each of them slayed by his blade which gleamed in the sunlight. It wasnt like he went on a mercilous killing spree or anything like that, the demons asked for it when they decided to attack him out of nowhere all at once. Every one of them got what they deserved and Hiei was pretty sure that they wouldnt be missed.
He had dedicated the afternoon to training out in the forest, and now that the sun was begining to set, he finished brushing up on his skill. If he was Mukuro's heir, not only did he have to remain powerful but he had to continue growing stronger. He sheathed his katana after wiping the blood that dripped down the side of it and turned his back on the bodies, heading off in another direction. At least he got some long-needed target practice.

A certain blue haired wolf demon was currently standing in the middle of the forest, her claws covered in blood. Ofcourse none of it was hers, the demons here were far too weak to do any real damage to anyone, especially not to an A class such as the princess herself. Neither would she allow anyone else to really harm her ...
Yet there was a mystery concerning as to why she was actually back in the demon world. The fact is she had discovered a glitch in the gate and had sneaked back through the barrier. The female just couldn't stay with all those humans without first seeing the place where her comrades fell.
It wasn't as if they were defeated by low level demons - that wasn't it at all. Actually it was hard to explain what happened, but there had been a bright light, screams and then Ash had felt like she had fallen for hours down to the human realm. So she really didn't see what happened to her kitsune 'friends' ... So that was why she was back.
Yet she had noticed a familiar energy, and turned heel to head towards Hiei's vague area. She could sense he was moving, yet it was inevitable that the two would cross paths. She didn't know why she wanted to speak with him again ... But the princess did feel a little bored at the time.

The forest was populated with so many demons, but they were so weak that their auras were barely detectable individually. He could sense them all as a mass and it still couldnt add up to the amount of strength he had. Now that the other demons in the area caught a glimpse of what he could do, they were wise enough to keep their distance and leave him alone. Hiei didnt care much either way. None of them posed a threat, not even if they were to ban together and ambush him. Fighting them gave him some entertainment, but eventually it got boring because the slays were effortless.
He stopped suddenly, feeling something different. He was hit with a demonic energy that put all the others to shame, and he recognized it almost instantly. That demoness he ran into in the human world, it had to be her. He remembered how powerful and distinct her ki was, and this one seemed to match. He started walking again. Once they crossed paths again his suspicions were confirmed.
"I see you found a way back to Makai after all," he told her, facing the blue-haired demoness. "Did the fox help you or was it the racoon?" Like her, he was prone to rudeness. It came naturally, but like her he had reasons behind his behavior. Reasons that nobody would ever want not care to understand.

"Not that it's any of your business, but I found the way back myself." The wolf princess answered, holding back the sudden urge to growl ... or call the male a brat again. She did have a whole tonne of pride and there was simply no way that she would have accepted help from either Kurama or Sarah.
So ofcourse the female was a little aggitated at that, yet she did keep that calm expression on her face. It was the sort of look that suggested she thought she were above everyone else. In a sense it was true, and then on the reverse side she just felt like any other demon - except there was a small difference - she was a princess. Or atleast she had been a very long time ago.
"Been killing small fry? Isn't that a waste of time?" She questioned, yet rather oddly for her, she sounded more curious than rude this time. Perhaps her little act was coming to an end at last. Yet she just couldn't help it; she had been fine around her old bandit group, actually cracking a smile every other hour. But since then she had just rejected everyone, it was almost as if she believed that anyone she came in contact with, got hurt one way or the other. She felt guilty for it.
Moving on from that though, the female brought her pale right hand up to her face and licked the spot of blood from her claws. To any human it would ave looked remarkably strange and rather freakish ... Yet demons didn't ever seem to mind at all. Plus Ash didn't really feel like walking around with blood on her hands.

"Hn," he said, as he usually did. Along with regarding those around him as fools, he'd say that quite often. A small shrug rolled over his shoulders as he shifted his crimson gaze toward the sky, the faintest hint of a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. "I find that surprising after you told me you didnt want to come back. Are you sure you werent forced to return against your will?"
Mostly every demon who would cross over to the human realm was driven back at some point to their own world by spirit detectives or somebody else working for Reikai. It was hard to picture that happening to her so quickly though, because she was such a powerful youkai. Usually it some time to usher ones like her back to where tehy came from, so her returning on her own accord was believable. Hiei was Hiei though, and like her he didnt alway give the kindest of remarks.
"I wouldnt have killed them if they'd have stayed out of my way," he responded to her question, his gaze returning to the demon princess. He watched as she cleaned the blood from her claws and didnt find it as odd as a human would. "I see you've spilled your own fair share of blood today."

"No one could ever force me to come back. I just remembered there was something I needed to do here." A vague answer, yet an answer all the same. Ash wasn't one for spilling her life story to just anyone, least of all someone like Hiei. Yet she wouldn't tell someone like Kurama either - the fox just seemed too concerned for the world and she didn't need sympathy.
Yet looking past that, she was definately was tellling the truth - she certainly did need to do something; such as finding some corpses. Or atleast the scent of her old team, because if they really had died then there would be some sort of sign and she needed to know for sure before she moved on.
The princess inwardly spoke as Hiei sort of explained why he had been 'wasting time' as Ash put it. The lower demons never knew when to hide and keep out of someone's way - their egos were far too large for beings as weak as them, it was always inevitable that they would get killed sooner or later for it.
"They made fun of my tail." She explained, the furry appendage swishing to the side in clear view. Since she was in the demon realm, there was no need to hide it, yet the fact is the low level demons weren't just making fun of her tail ... they were insulting the colour of it - afterall, blue wolves werent exactly normal. Plus the female didn't take well to insults of any kind ... Well usually she would act calm about it, but from such ugly beasts, she had to teach them a lesson.
